2006 Scholarship Winners
Abby Dudensing is currently a sophomore at Texas A &
M University, majoring in Kinesiology. She plans to have a career in
pediatric physical therapy after completing the doctorate program of physical
therapy at Hardin Simmons University. Her parents are members of
Big Country Electric Cooperative and TREWA.
Ryan Inge and his parents are members of Ft.
Belknap Electric Cooperative and TREWA. He will attend Angelo State
University in the fall where he plans on majoring in Accounting and Finance.
Ultimately, he would like to obtain his CPA designation and own his own
accounting firm.
Amanda Gajdosik
is currently a freshman at Texas A & M University where she is studing
Psychology. She hopes to ultimately become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Her family are members of HILCO Electric Cooperative
and TREWA.
Kerry Karaffa and his family are members of
Fannin County Electric Cooperative and TREWA.
Currently ranked first in his senior class, he will attend Texas A & M
University - Commerce in the fall and plans to major in Sociology with an
emphasis in Criminal Justice.
Chelsea Harvey and her parents are members of
Pedernales Electric Cooperative and TREWA. She plans on attending
Texas State University in San Marcos next year and will major in Kinesiology.
She will be participating on the Texas State Track Team.
Kristen Karaffa and her family are members of
Fannin County Electric Cooperative and TREWA. She plans on
attending Texas A & M University - Commerce and majoring in Education to
ultimately become an elementary school teacher.
Kimberly Garcia is currently attending Hardin-Simmons University,
majoring in Political Science. Upon completion, she plans on attending law
school. Her father works for Big Country Electric
Cooperative and is a member of TREWA.
Maxx Leach and his parents are members of South
Plains Electric Cooperative and TREWA. After obtaining a degree in
Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, he plans to work in the
technology and research and development field.
Julie Holloway and her family are members of Taylor
Electric Cooperative and TREWA. She plans on attending either Texas
A & M University or Abilene Christian University in the fall where she will
major in Education as she hopes to someday become a teacher.
Aaron Lux currently attends Tarleton State University where he is
majoring in Agricultural Communications. After obtaining his degree, he
plans on ultimately becoming a lobbyist on behalf of the American Farmer.
His parents are members of Pedernales Electric Cooperative
and TREWA.
